From Ms. Liz Money Maters
My holiday job all through college was at a bank about a mile from my parent’s home. I loved that job. Each summer, Christmas and even spring break I’d work at the bank. For the first year, I was a personal teller then a commercial teller , then I moved over to their bookkeeping department. It was the perfect job for an aspiring accountant and I loved it.
My friends at work became like family. They were always excited when I came back; I think I added a bit of youth and fun to the office.
They helped me grow into myself. They coached me when I chided Mr. Moneymaker for only having $3.23 in his account (I mistakenly thought we were friends–oops). They let me leave early when my niece was born and I couldn’t sit still and when I was picking up my new car and I couldn’t sit still.
