From Financial Pilgrimage …
My family and I are staying at my parents’ house this week and it’s bringing back all kinds of old childhood memories. While at my parents’ I discovered my old baseball card collection.
While going through my old collection, I came across the crown jewel of most baseball card collections from the early 90s. A Ken Griffey Jr. Even though most of the cards in what’s left of my collection are worthless, it got me thinking about all of the life lessons that collecting baseball cards taught me as a youngster.
There are several skills you can learn from collecting baseball cards including negotiating, valuing assets, and removing emotion from decisions.
