CREATE A LISTING
FOR YOUR PERSONAL FINANCE BLOG OR PODCAST
HOW TO CREATE A CAMPFIRE FINANCE DIRECTORY LISTING
TIP: creating a listing is possible on your mobile device, but is much easier from a desktop computer or laptop. Note that listings are for personal finance bloggers & podcasters (plus YouTubers too if you have a blog where your videos appear.) They are not for businesses who happen to have a blog.
1. Create An Account On Our Site
Creating an account gives you access to our site where you’ll create your listing. After clicking the “Register” button, check your email. See Step 2.
2. Change Your Password
Click on the link in the email you received to create a password, then click the Reset Password button.
3. Login and Fill Out the Form
Login using the username and password you just created and you’ll be taken to the Submit A Listing page. Just fill out the form and submit your listing. That’s it! You’ll be emailed when your listing is approved.
WHY YOU SHOULD CREATE A LISTING
REACH NEW READERS
Camp FIRE gets regular readers from all over the world. Creating a listing puts you in front of them and allows you to reach new audiences that you might otherwise not be able to reach.
IMPROVE YOUR SEO
Each listing comes with at least one back link to your site. Because our domain authority is good (and getting better), this is a great way for you to boost your own SEO.
GET ADDED TO THE FIRE FEED
Whenever a new listing is created, we also add that site to our daily feed. Whenever you post something new, we’ll show it on our FIRE feed, giving you more potential clicks and readers.
BUILD YOUR SOCIAL FOLLOWING
Listing pages have space for three social follow buttons, allowing our readers to follow you from the listing page. You choose the social channels and we’ll invite our readers to follow you.
Seeing your site’s name and logo is a great way to introduce your brand to readers. Each listing has your logo and name front & center, helping you build brand recognition.
IT’S FREE & EASY!
Listings are free (for personal finance bloggers and podcasters only), and are easy to make. (* Non-blogger businesses are *not* eligible for the free listing *) It takes 5 minutes to complete but the benefits last forever. There is no good reason why you shouldn’t create a listing, so create one today.
